Materials Receiving CoordinatorMaterials Receiving Coordinator Location: Santa Teresa, New Mexico Duration: 12-month assignment (potential for extension based on business needs) Work Schedule 6 days per week, 10-hour shifts (6x10) Rotation: Approximately 1 week off every 45 weeks Benefits Housing provided (aligned with site standards; capped based on local market conditions) Per diem: $75/day Mobilization and demobilization fully covered (including travel expenses)Position OverviewThe Materials Receiving Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all incoming materials. This role focuses on material verification, documentation, and reporting to ensure alignment between delivered materials and project requirements.ResponsibilitiesMaterial Receiving & VerificationCoordinate pre-arrival communication for scheduled deliveriesVerify materials against packing lists, purchase orders, and project documentationValidate quantities, specifications, and labeling accuracyInspect materials upon arrival and identify damages or discrepanciesDocumentation & ReportingComplete receiving forms, logs, and reports per site proceduresCapture and maintain photo documentation for traceability and auditsEnter receiving data into ACC or similar systems accurately and timelyMaintain strict compliance with documentation standardsQuality & ComplianceEnforce site safety requirements during receiving activitiesIdentify and escalate non-conforming materialsSupport QA/QC processes through detailed verification and recordkeepingMaintain organized records for audits, inspections, and project closeoutStorage & CoordinationCoordinate proper storage, labeling, and handling of materialsCommunicate with suppliers, logistics providers, and site teams regarding delivery issuesMaintain accurate and up-to-date receiving records to support site operationsWork EnvironmentCombination of construction trailer and outdoor job site work Active construction/industrial environment Material inspections performed onsite (e.g., flatbed truck deliveries)Physical RequirementsAbility to work outdoors in varying conditions Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout the site for extended periods Ability to visually inspect materials, labels, and documentation accuratelyRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent Minimum 3+ years of experience in materials receiving, logistics, construction support, or similar roles in project-based environments Core Skills: Strong attention to detail Ability to follow structured processes and procedures Experience with repetitive, documentation-heavy tasks Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems Strong communication and coordination skills in a site-based environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) environments Familiarity with construction, industrial, or manufacturing material control processes Experience with material tracking systems such as ACC or similar platformsJSG offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance options, short-term disability, 401(k), weekly pay, and more.
