MEDICAL ASSISTANT (MA) + Sign-On Bonus!LOCATION: Missoula, MT JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent We are looking for a compassionate, proactive Medical Assistant to join a dynamic primary care team focused on delivering exceptional, relationship-based care to seniors. In this role, you'll work side-by-side with a Nurse Practitioner to ensure patients receive personalized, coordinated support that makes a real difference in their health and well-being. What You'll Do:Provide hands-on clinical care including rooming patients, taking vitals, performing screenings, and assisting with exams and procedures. Conduct phlebotomy, administer vaccinations, and perform tests such as EKGs, ABI, and spirometry. Support efficient clinic operations by preparing charts, maintaining exam rooms, and ensuring timely patient flow. Partner with the Nurse Practitioner to manage a patient panel and help deliver high-quality, compassionate care. Coordinate labs, imaging, specialty referrals, and follow-up appointments. Educate patients on preventive care, medication management, and healthy lifestyle practices. Assist with prior authorizations, medication refills, and medical record retrieval. Maintain clinic safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards. What We're Looking For:Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with completion of an accredited program 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience (primary care preferred) Phlebotomy experience required; lab experience a plus Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred) Strong communication and organizational skills Team player with a patient-first attitude and commitment to quality care Why You'll Love This Role:Supportive, team-oriented environment where every voice is valued.
