Work Schedule: 4 Day Work Weeks!1st Shift - Monday-Thursday 630 AM - 5 PMEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerform packing duties (stacking and banding of product)Performing manual assembly of partsReads and interprets blueprints, drawings, Job Orders, routers and diagramsAdheres to operating procedures/instructionsAdjusts machine settings to complete tasks per specification to run job orders accurately and maximize productivityDetect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisorsCommunicate process and quality improvements via CPAR systemMaintain a clean and safe work stationAccurately record labor and material usage in ERP systemOther responsibilities as assigned by managementQualificationsEducation and Experience:High school diploma/GED or equivalent0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing/shipping environmentKnowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, expectations, and procedures in manufacturingJob Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesAbility to read and perform basic math skills including countingAbility to use various tools including tape measure, dial caliper, and other hand toolsMust have a good command of the English language, both written and spokenBasic reading skills for understanding drawings, Job Orders, and specsAble to follow directionsPhysical DemandsMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsRequired to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility for an entire shiftPersonal Protective EquipmentSafety/ Steel toe boots are requiredProtective equipment, such as gloves, required for specific tasksWork EnvironmentWork performed in a plant/production environmentContains any number of elements including but not limited to fiberglass/insulation material, dust, fumes, and noise.
