Psychiatrist (Adult or Child & Adolescent) Pembroke, United States | Posted on 07/22/2025 Overview We are recruiting a Psychiatrist for Inpatient Adult Services, with the capacity to support older adult and adolescent programs. This role involves direct patient care, collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team, and application of evidence-based practices to support recovery and mental wellness. What we Offer 36 days paid time off. Pembroke Hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and partial hospitalization programs for adults, older adults (50+), and adolescents, including those with co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders as well as sub-acute medical comorbidities. Minimum Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry. Valid and active medical license in the state of Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain. Strong clinical skills in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric disorders. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in working with diverse patient populations, including adults, older adults, and adolescents. Expertise in managing co-occurring disorders and sub-acute medical conditions. Duties & Responsibilities Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment for adult inpatients, with potential involvement in adolescent and older adult services. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Manage co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders, as well as sub-acute medical comorbidities. Engage in the hospital's PHP as needed. Uphold the guiding principles of collaboration, compassion, and respect in all patient interactions.
