Apply via Dice today!Our client is seeking an experienced Senior JavaScript Developer to join their Digital Technology team within a large, enterprise-scale organization. This role is responsible for the development, enhancement, and support of several enterprise JS applications deployed across our plant and transportations networks. The applications currently run on iPads and iPhones and are both critical to daily operations.This position requires a developer who takes holistic ownership of application needs someone who makes it their responsibility to understand the broader system, business workflows, and operational impact of application and process changes. The ideal candidate is proactive, accountable, and comfortable driving solutions from concept through production in an Agile environment.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, enhance, and support the features across mission critical- warehouse and transportation management applications which are heavily leveraged by our field resourcesTake end-to-end- ownership of assigned application areas, including design, development, testing, deployment, and, when required, production supportProactively identify system improvements, technical debt, and operational risks rather than working solely from a ticket backlogCollaborate with product owners, business analysts, UX designers, and other engineers to translate business needs into scalable technical solutionsEnsure the application performs reliably on iPad/iPhone devices in plant, warehouse, and delivery environmentsParticipate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectivesProvide mentoring and technical leadership to other developers and contribute to coding standards and architectural decisionsTroubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal disruption to plant and transportation operationsEnsure solutions align with enterprise security, scalability, and operational standardsRequired Qualifications:Strong hands-on- experience with front end frameworks; Nuxt, Vue, Svelte, etc.Working familiarity with Docker, Git, and AWS in an enterprise application environmentPrior experience leveraging Firestore or other real time databases.Proven experience developing and supporting production-grade, enterprise applicationsPrior experience working in an Agile/Scrum environmentDemonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross functional- teamStrong sense of ownership, accountability, and problem-solving- capabilityExcellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience leveraging testing tools such as Vitest, Playwright, and Jest for application testingProficient with AI-assisted development tools for code generation and analysis, with strong emphasis on human review, validation, and technical ownershipPreferred Qualifications:Prior practical experience with the Vue.js and Nuxt frameworksExperience developing hybrid applications (e.g. Capacitor) for tablet or mobile (iPad/iOS) environmentsExperience working in large, distributed enterprise environmentsExposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based- deployment modelsExperience with Angular a plus (primary framework is Nuxt)Salary/Rate: $55-$70/HR (depends on experience level).
