Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using virtualization technologies like VMware, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to ensure high availability and scalability. Develop and maintain automation scripts and configuration management using tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, PowerShell, Bash scripting, and system hardening techniques. Build secure web services and APIs following RESTful principles to support SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS offerings while ensuring robust system security and compliance. Manage database systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB to support application development and data analytics. Implement DevOps practices by setting up CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git, Docker containers, and monitoring tools to accelerate software deployment cycles. Provide technical guidance on cloud architecture best practices for system hardening, network security (VPN), system management, and application deployment in UNIX/Linux/Windows environments. Deep understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices architecture, and web services integration. Extensive experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, OpenStack, Docker containers, Kubernetes orchestration, and cloud infrastructure automation tools like Terraform. Proficiency in programming languages including Python, JavaScript (Node.js), Ruby on Rails, Go, Java, PowerShell, Bash scripting; familiarity with .NET is a plus. Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts including SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), and related technologies like REST APIs. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure; familiarity with Rackspace or Citrix is advantageous. Expertise in database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle PL/SQL; experience with NoSQL databases is preferred. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure management encompassing operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows), system hardening techniques, network security protocols (VPN), and application development lifecycle (SDLC). Knowledge of DevOps methodologies including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools; experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet enhances your profile.
