Substitute Teacher- High School and Middle School

The Dayton Regional STEM School seeks highly motivated and effective on call substitute teachers to join our school faculty and staff for the 2025-2026 school year. Interested candidates should send their resume to Stephanie Clower at stephanie.clower@daytonstemschool.org.Roles And ResponsibilitiesProvide classroom instruction to students as outlined in lesson plansCreate a classroom that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of studentsMaintain a safe and orderly environmentMaintain established routine of the school and the classroom procedures in which assignedRemain at school the entire school day (7:45-3:30) unless otherwise instructed to leave by a building administratorTake all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilitiesMaintain reasonable rules of conduct which encourage self-discipline and responsibilityMeet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and times designatedHelp supervise students throughout school day, inside, and outside classroomKeep teachers or teams informed of special needs or problems of individual studentsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree with Substitute Teaching License or ability to obtain a Temporary 1 Year Non-Bachelor's Substitute Teaching License
