This role is based in our Montebello headquarters in Rockland County, NY.Responsibilities:Ensure accurate and timely posting of daily transactions including cash receipts, accounts payable, and journal entriesMaintain and update the general ledger by ensuring all transactions are properly coded and recordedReview and manage Accounts Payable, Credit Card transactions, ReimbursementsReconcile: Credit Cards, Bank Accounts, Accounts PayableMaintain and organize accounting files in a systematic and easily accessible manner (digital)Assist in the month end close process in an accurate and timely mannerPerform other Ad hoc accounting duties as assignedProtects organization's value by keeping information confidentialRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field1-3 years of accounting experienceExperience with general ledger functions and the month end close processAttention to detail: Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficientlyExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with teamAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks, Xero, Netsuite, or similar)iPostal1 is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religious creed, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, marital status, disability, military status, genetic information, or any other category protected by law.
