We are united by a common mission: to deliver services and technology that fundamentally change how skilled workers and the businesses they serve get hard work done.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Control Room Operator to support safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations through continuous monitoring and operation of processing systems and equipment from a centralized control room environment. This role is responsible for monitoring plant conditions, maintaining operational stability, responding to process upsets, and supporting field personnel to maximize operational performance and safety.The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting abilities, operational awareness, and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compliance with all safety and environmental standards.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and operate plant systems and production equipment through centralized control systems and SCADA platforms.Conduct continuous surveillance of operating conditions, process variables, alarms, and critical equipment performance.Maintain accurate operational logs, reports, and shift documentation.Respond to process upsets, equipment issues, and abnormal operating conditions in a safe and timely manner.Coordinate with field operators, maintenance personnel, and engineering teams to optimize plant performance and reliability.Prepare equipment for maintenance activities, including isolation and permitting processes when required.Perform routine operational checks, preventative inspections, and basic troubleshooting activities.Identify operational improvement opportunities and support implementation of process enhancements.Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and operational procedures and policies.Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action development as needed.Maintain strong communication during shift turnovers and ongoing operations activities.Support emergency response activities and maintain operational readiness.Skills And QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or related certifications preferred.Typically 5–7 years of experience in plant operations, control room operations, or related oil and gas operations.Strong understanding of plant processes, production systems, and operating procedures.Experience with SCADA systems, distributed control systems (DCS), or other process control platforms preferred.Demonstrated ability to monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot operational issues in real time.Strong understanding of safety practices, permit systems, and environmental compliance requirements.Ability to make sound operational decisions within broad operating parameters.Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.Proficient computer skills including operational reporting systems and Microsoft Office applications.Ability to work rotating schedules, nights, weekends, holidays, and respond to operational callouts as needed.Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence and safety culture.Job DetailsLocation: Kenedy, TXCompensation: $35/hrSchedule: 7/7 rotation
