By integrating cutting-edge science, automation, and analytics, we aim to redefine preventive and personalized medicine.About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Lab Technician to join our Mass Spectrometry Department. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation, analysis, and interpretation of clinical samples using advanced mass spectrometry techniques, ensuring accurate and timely results for patient diagnostics and research applications.Shift Availability: Monday - Friday: 4:00 AM -12:30 PM Tuesday - Saturday: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Key Responsibilities:Prepare biological and environmental samples for analysis using LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, and ICP-MS techniques.Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot mass spectrometers and associated laboratory equipment.Perform routine calibration and quality control (QC) checks to ensure instrument accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.Follow CLIA, CAP, and GLP guidelines to maintain laboratory quality and accreditation.Assist in method development, validation, and optimization for various analytes.Analyze test results, document findings, and report results using LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).Maintain laboratory records, including instrument logs, sample tracking, and QC documentation.Follow proper handling and disposal procedures for chemicals, solvents, and biological samples.Collaborate with scientists and clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow and data integrity.Stay up-to-date with advancements in mass spectrometry and clinical laboratory techniques.Qualifications & Requirements:Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.Experience: Previous experience in a clinical laboratory with LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, or ICP-MS preferred.Certifications (Preferred but not required): ASCP, AACC, or other relevant laboratory certifications.Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols, sample preparation techniques, and mass spectrometry data analysis.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in using analytical software (e.g., MassHunter, MassLynx, Xcalibur) and LIMS.Ability to follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.Work Environment & Physical Requirements:Work in a clinical laboratory setting with exposure to biological samples, solvents, and instrumentation.May require standing for extended periods and handling laboratory equipment.Compliance with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements, including gloves, lab coats, and eye protection.Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Health, dental, vision and life insurance.401(k) with employer contribution.Paid time off (PTO) and holidays.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Location:Santa Clara, CA 95054 (Required)Relocation Assistance: NoneEqual Opportunity StatementVibrant America, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
