Job Description The Community Monitor is responsible for overseeing community amenities and common areas to ensure a safe, clean, and respectful environment. This role involves enforcing community rules, assisting residents, and maintaining a visible presence to promote compliance and positive community engagement. This position is ideal as a summer job with the opportunity to transition into a part-time role.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor community amenities such as pools, clubhouses, fitness centers, parks, and courts.Ensure community rules, safety guidelines, and policies are followed by residents and guests.Verify resident access credentials or guest passes when required.Report rule violations, safety concerns, or maintenance issues to management or security.Maintain a visible presence to deter inappropriate behavior.Assist residents with basic questions about amenities and policies.Complete incident reports or daily activity logs when necessary.Help maintain cleanliness and order in amenity areas.Contact management or emergency services when needed.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Applicants ages 16 and older are encouraged to apply with reliable transportation.Customer service or hospitality experience preferred.Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with residents and guests.Ability to observe situations and respond appropriately.Basic knowledge of safety procedures.Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.SkillsCustomer serviceConflict resolutionObservation and attention to detailCommunication skillsProblem solvingWork EnvironmentPrimarily located at community amenity centers or outdoor recreational areas.May involve standing or walking for extended periods.Work may occur in outdoor conditions or varying weather.
