Pathology Assistant Location: New York City, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,619 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 7 hours Contract Duration: 11 Weeks Start Date: 5/4/2026 About the Position Job Title: Pathologist Assistant Profession: Laboratory Specialty: Pathology Technician Duration: 11 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 0-3 years related experience in Pathology (required) License: NYS Licensure as a Pathologist Assistant, bachelor's or higher degree from a Pathologist Assistants program, or equivalent program as determined by the educational department Bachelor or higher degree in a NAACLA accredited Pathologists' assistant program Certifications: Fellow of the American Association of Pathologists Assistants (preferred) ASCP certification (preferred) Must-Have: Candidates must have 0-3 years of related experience in Pathology. Candidates should possess the necessary licensure and educational qualifications. Description: This is a contract position in the area of Surgical Pathology. The assignment duration is for 11 weeks. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a 45-minute break. Candidates are required to have a current New York State license. No requests for time off will be accepted within the first week of the contract. The total requests for time off cannot exceed 10 days combined.
