Tax Senior Job DescriptionThe Tax Senior will play a critical role in our firm by providing outstanding tax services to our clients. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have experience in CPA, Public Accounting, audits, Churches, Schools, and Non Profit organizations.Position Overview:Lead and manage multiple tax engagements for a variety of clients, including churches, schools, and non-profit organizationsPrepare and review complex tax returns and provide tax planning servicesAssist with IRS and state tax auditsSupervise and train tax associatesStay updated on tax laws and regulations and communicate changes to team members and clientsDevelop and maintain strong client relationshipsKey Responsibilities:Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trustsResearch and analyze tax laws and regulations to ensure complianceAssist in tax planning and provide recommendations to clientsPrepare and review financial statementsReview client accounting records to ensure accuracySupervise and train tax associatesCommunicate with clients to gather information and resolve tax-related issuesAssist with IRS and state tax auditsMaintain and update client files and tax recordsQualifications:CPA certificationBachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in Public AccountingExperience with audits of non-profit organizations, churches, and schoolsThorough understanding of tax laws and regulationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWhy Work for us?Hybrid Work environment!Fast Track to Partner!
