Paralegal – Real Estate (5–10 Years)📍 New York - Manhattan💰 $120,000 – $150,000Leading international law firm with a strong reputation in real estate and transactional law is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join its team. Working closely with the Real Estate Team Lead, and attorneys, this role supports a broad range of commercial real estate matters including acquisitions, financings, leasing, and development projects.WHY THIS ROLE STANDS OUTWork on high-value, complex commercial real estate transactions across multiple asset classesExposure to acquisitions, leasing, financing, and development work within a collaborative legal teamDirect interaction with attorneys, clients, and external stakeholders on sophisticated mattersCompetitive compensation with discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits packageWHAT YOU’LL DOCoordinate documentation and closings for real estate transactions including sales, purchases, leases, and financingsReview title commitments, title documents, and surveys to support transactional due diligencePrepare, draft, and edit transaction documents, loan documents, closing documents, and correspondenceManage due diligence processes and ensure timely completion of pre- and post-closing tasksConduct legal and factual research using tools such as Westlaw, Lexis, and other online resourcesRecord legal documents with relevant Recorder’s OfficesCommunicate with clients and third parties via phone, email, and written correspondenceMaintain organized files for complex, high-volume transactionsAccurately record and release billable time on a daily basisSupport attorneys with additional tasks and projects as requiredWHO YOU ARE5-10 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions within a law firm or similar environmentStrong experience with title and survey review, due diligence, drafting, and closing processesHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneouslyExceptional attention to detail and analytical skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills with a professional client-facing approachAbility to work independently and problem-solve with minimal supervisionComfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Office and legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisFlexible with working hours, including occasional overtime or weekends as neededEDUCATIONBachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferredBENEFITS PACKAGEComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) and additional retirement benefitsShort-term and long-term disability coverageLife insurancePaid time off and paid holidaysDiscretionary annual bonusIf this role aligns with your experience or you’re interested in exploring similar opportunities, please get in touch directly.📧 gabriele.barsegjan@simpsonjudge.com📞 (862) 407 602
