Job Tittle: Structural Engineering Professional AssociateDuration: 6 monthsShift: 8am - 6pmLocation :Tempe, AZ 85282 (Hybrid)(AZ, CA, CO, HI, NM, NV, UT)Position SummaryAs a Structural Engineering Professional, you will play a key role in the design team, contributing to structural analysis and design for various projects. You will collaborate closely with Structural Leads, Engineers, Designers, and cross-functional teams to develop design concepts, perform analysis, and ensure accurate implementation in design documents and models.Key ResponsibilitiesStructural Design & AnalysisPerform structural engineering analysis and design under general supervisionApply engineering techniques, procedures, and code requirementsConduct lateral analysis (wind & seismic) in compliance with US building codesDesign and analyze steel and concrete structuresProject Execution & OwnershipManage assigned workload and ensure delivery within schedule, budget, and quality standardsTake ownership of assigned structural scope and proactively define requirementsIdentify scope changes and communicate with Structural LeadWork efficiently with strong attention to detail and accuracyQuality & CompliancePerform self-checks and peer reviews of calculationsEnsure adherence to quality control standardsFollow US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISCCollaboration & CommunicationWork closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersCommunicate structural requirements effectively in drawings and modelsDemonstrate strong written and verbal communication skillsLeadership & DevelopmentProvide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designersSupport continuous improvement in workflows, tools, and systemsStay updated on industry trends and emerging technologiesMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis preferred)Professional Engineer License (PE/PEng)4+ years of experience in structural engineeringExperience with US building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC)Experience with structural analysis tools, Navisworks, and BluebeamExperience in steel and concrete structural designStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in Civil/Structural EngineeringExperience in semiconductor or industrial facilitiesExperience leading small teamsWorking Conditions & RequirementsMust be located in the USA Southwest Region (AZ, CA, CO, HI, NM, NV, UT)Must have reliable home internet for remote workNo visa sponsorship available at this time
