Hiring: Overnight Behavioral Health Technician Location: West River Haven | 185 Old Ferry Road | Brattleboro, VT 05301Hiring full-time Overnight Behavioral Health Technicians to work directly with adolescents at our residential facility West River Haven located at 185 Old Ferry Road, Brattleboro, VT 05301As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will supervise and interact with clients, teach responsible living skills, and document services as you help BUILD BETTER FUTURES.Wage: $25.00 - $30.00 per hourJob Type: Full-timeShift: VARIES: 11:00pm - 7:00am including weekendsIn this role, you will:Provide direct supervision, leadership, and serve as a role model to clients while interacting in a therapeutic and meaningful manner.Implement the daily activity schedule and structure and coordinate client activities, such as Family Night, Structured Recreation, etc.Facilitate and document various psycho-educational groups via standardized curricula.Conduct scheduled and random head counts to provide effective people security.Assist with mentoring and on-the-job training of newer team members.Support the Abraxas philosophy and mission and promotes the Seven Key Principles of care.Hiring Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.Must possess a valid Vermont Driver's LicenseMust be 21 years of age or olderMust be able to pass physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screeningMust pass criminal background check investigationFlexibility to work overtime as required.Why Should You Consider Abraxas?At Abraxas, we celebrate the richness of our diverse employees and the communities we serve.
