The ideal candidate will be an ambitious self-starter with an eagerness to grow and a passion for becoming a trusted financial advisor to their clients.So if you are an Audit Supervisor/Manager with experience in public accounting, please apply today!What You Will Be DoingThe Audit Supervisor/Manager will be responsible for the training and support of the firm audit staff in addition to:- Review current processes and share recommendations to streamline and/or enhance policies and procedures- Support and motive audit and senior staff, as well as review work to ensure accuracy- Ensure client understanding and provide frequent updates on the progress of engagements, problems, and resolutions- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of audit policies and procedures and educate the team on any updates to processes- Manage and maintain billable hour budgets and address any concerns with over/under concerns- Lead multiple accounting, auditing, and client engagements efficiently and with accuracy- Research and identify complex issues and come up with/recommend creative solutions- Other miscellaneous tasks and supervisory duties as directed by firm partnersWhat You Need for this Position5+ years of recent experience at a public accounting firm and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA license preferred- Experience with leading the audit process from planning to execution - Demonstrated success in the development of new business and extended service opportunities with both existing and prospective clients- Strong and effective analytical and problem-solving ability- Proven leadership skills, ability to train, mentor and guide Audit AssociatesBenefitsComprehensive medical, dental, visionParticipation in firm bonus plan Two weeks vacation + personal time accrual at a rate of .77 hours/week + week of furlough the week of the 4th of July401(k) contributionChef prepared meals several times monthlyOnce/week one-hour yoga classes
