If you love solving puzzles, building new things, fixing what’s broken, or pushing the boundaries of creativity, we encourage you to explore the details of this position below!UNCOMN is seeking a Wargames Analyst to:Provide expert support to administration, planning, execution, and conducting after-action activities, including reports and analysis for USTRANSCOM-led wargames.Articulate concepts and capabilities for inclusion in wargames.Support development, execution, and revision of a Wargame Concept of Operations (CONOPs).Participate in wargame planning meetings/events to advocate for the inclusion/consideration of USTRANSCOM deployment and distribution equities.Utilize transportation, logistics, and operational experience to assist in wargame preparation and planning.Provide logistics lessons learned and identified gaps relevant to the Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE) for inclusion in After Action Reports and concept development.Gather, fuse, and incorporate multi-source information across multiple organizations related to Wargame Planning and Execution.Author summary of upcoming Service, Global Combatant Commands (GCC), and Joint Staff (JS) Wargames to assist USTRANSCOM leadership in determining the potential benefits of Command participation.Communicate progress of wargame planning efforts both verbally and in writing.This position description outlines the core duties for this role, but it is not all-inclusive. Responsibilities may shift based on contract requirements, mission needs, or organizational objectives. RequirementsBachelor’s degree and 6+ years of related experience or a master’s degree and 4+ years of related experience.3+ years of HQ Staff-level experience.Knowledge and/or experience with DoD logistics, distribution, transportation, supply chain, and strategy.Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, granted by the US Government, which requires US citizenship. The government also uses 13 adjudicative guidelines to determine an individual's eligibility.Strong communication, analytic, and presentation development skills.Knowledge of U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) operations, issues, and priorities.Strong interpersonal skills, to include team building and the ability to anticipate needs.Understanding of DoW Joint Planning and Operations.
