This role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on development experience, and the ability to support full lifecycle application development in cloud-based environments.Design, develop, test, deploy, enhance, and sustain software systems and applications based on Government requirementsDevelop and maintain applications using Oracle APEX as the primary development platformWrite, optimize, and maintain SQL and PL/SQL code for application and database developmentDesign and consume RESTful APIs to support system integrationsImplement and support CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools to improve development efficiency and qualityPerform diagnostic testing and validation prior to release to ensure stability, performance, and usabilityAnalyze user needs and translate requirements into technical solutionsModify existing applications to correct defects, enhance functionality, and improve performanceSupport software installation, configuration, and operational sustainmentDesign and maintain application databases and define performance standardsCollaborate with systems analysts, engineers, and developers to design and integrate solutionsGather user feedback and continuously improve application usability and performanceProvide guidance on application maintenance and lifecycle supportTrack development activities and manage work through JIRASupport development and deployment in cloud environments (OCI and AWS), including use of AWS CLI as applicableWork across all phases of the SDLC from analysis and design through implementation and operational supportPerform other related duties as assigned8+ years of experience in application software development and full lifecycle SDLC supportExperience developing applications using Oracle APEX or similar low-code application platformsWorking knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for application and database developmentFamiliarity with front-end technologies such as HTML and JavaScriptExperience working with RESTful APIs and system integrationsFamiliarity with secure coding practices and compliance requirements in regulated environmentsStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams and Government stakeholdersActive Secret clearanceWillingness to travel domestically as neededBachelor’s (BS) and/or Master’s (MS) degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools in a development or DevSecOps environmentExperience working in cloud environments such as OCI and/or AWS; familiarity with AWS CLI is a plusWorking knowledge of JIRA or similar agile workflow toolsExperience with additional programming languages such as Python and/or Java is beneficialRequirements of position Think analytically, effective verbal and written communication skills, make decisions, observe/remember details, interpret data, concentrate on tasks, adjust to change, handle stress/emotions.
