The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading floor plans and installing cable and devices according to detailed drawings and specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall low voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, coax, fiber, plenum/riser cable, etc.) in commercial environment.Interpret and follow floor plans, blueprints, and technical drawingsInstall and terminate devices such as data jacks, wall plates, patch panels, and related hardwareEnsure clean, organized, and code-compliant installationsCollaborate with project managers and other trades on-siteTroubleshoot and test installed systems for functionalityQualificationsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and floor plansProven experience in low voltage cable installationFamiliarity with tools and techniques used in structured cabling including but not limited to: Multi-meter:AC/DC voltage, OHMS/Resistance, currentLifts/Ladders, ScaffoldingSteel and fiberglass fish-tape and push rodsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsReliable transportation and valid driver's licenseAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferredExperience with fire alarm, access control, security systems, and AV installationsOSHA 10 or 30 certificationIndustry certifications (BICSI, NICET, etc.)Class E driver's licenseWe're an equal opportunity employer.
