Job Tittle : Director of Information TechnologyJob Location : Hamilton, OHJob Description SummaryThis role is responsible for defining and executing the IT and digital technology strategy for the client, ensuring seamless integration of IT systems, optimizing digital processes, strengthening cyber security, and enabling business growth through technology. The Director will lead a global IT team, partner closely with business and functional leaders, and ensure that technology investments are aligned to business outcomes, customer value, and client's priorities in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).This role reports functionally to the CIO P&AT operationally to the CEO of the client.Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership and Business PartnershipAct as a key member of the P&AT DT leadership team and the Client's leadership team, providing thought leadership on technology strategy and digital transformation.Partner with business, operational, engineering, and functional leaders to ensure technology investments are prioritized and governed to drive measurable business, customer, and operational value.Technology Strategy, Architecture, and OperationsOversee the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of IT systems, networks, applications, and platforms.Ensure the security, reliability, scalability, and compliance of the technology landscape, including on-premise and cloud environments, in alignment with client's DT standards and policies.AI, Data, and Digital InnovationDefine an AI strategy and implementation roadmap for the client, including use cases that drive productivity, safety, quality, and customer value.Drive the adoption of advanced digital tools, including cloud solutions, data platforms, analytics, automation, and industrial/digital thread capabilities that support additive manufacturing.Team Leadership and Talent DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop a global team of IT and DT professionals, fostering a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement, and high performance.Build organizational capabilities in areas such as cloud, cybersecurity, data & analytics, product management, and agile delivery.Financial Management and Vendor StrategyManage IT budget for Client with a strong focus on cost optimization, productivity, and value realization.Establish and manage vendor and service provider relationships, ensuring performance, service quality, and commercial value (including contracts, SLAs, and renewals).Cybersecurity, Risk, and ComplianceDevelop, implement, and enforce policies, standards, and controls to protect company data, intellectual property, and systems, in alignment with the client and regulatory requirements.Partner with the client cyber and compliance teams to ensure adherence to IT security, export control, data privacy, and regulatory obligations.Minimum Qualifications For Candidates In USBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 8 years of professional experienceOR Associate's degree with a minimum of 11 years of professional experienceOR High School Diploma with a minimum of 13 years of professional experienceMinimum 5 years of professional experience in IT or a closely related digital technology domainSignificant leadership experience leading IT or DT professionals and teamsNote: Military experience is equivalent to professional experienceEligibility RequirementLegal authorization to work in the U.S.We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this role.Desired CharacteristicsExecutive communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills (presentations, memos, executive updates) and demonstrated experience engaging with senior and executive leadership.Data-driven problem solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle operational and business problems through data-driven root-cause analysis and structured problem solving.Cross-functional influence: Strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills, with experience working in matrixed and global environments.Project and portfolio management: Strong project/program management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively, manage dependencies, and deliver results across multiple initiatives.Technical acumen: Solid understanding of core IT domains (infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, applications, cloud, data & analytics) and the ability to relate high-level technical architectures to industry trends and business needs.Change leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead organizations through change and digital transformation, including adoption of new tools, processes, and ways of working.Manufacturing / industrial familiarity (preferred): Experience in Aerospace, industrial, manufacturing, or high-technology environments, ideally with exposure to additive manufacturing or advanced engineering.Travel: Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time."Leaderhub is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
