Job DetailsDescriptionBecome a Plant Operator with Liquid Environmental Solutions!FULL TIME OPENINGPay range: $22 to 24/hr ($70,000 to 90,000 annual comp with OT)Plant runs 24 hours per day. Three Distinct Shifts! Ideally seeking a flexibility in our candidates.Location: 2350 Crestview St., Kenner, LA 70062Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesManages the space for incoming wastewater and treatment of the material.Performs cleanup of the area as required.Checks tank levels for necessary space for material processing.Follows all safety and compliance rules and regulations.Wears and properly uses safety equipment at all times.Always works in a safe and compliant manner.Operates and maintains shop equipment.May perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.Operates heavy equipment including forklift truck and skid steer.May perform minor electrical maintenance functions.Cleans and maintains process equipment.Minimum Knowledge, Skills, & Ability RequirementsThe ability to learn procedures related to the safe handling of materials.Committed to growth in a company.Collaborative with team members.Good eye-hand coordination.Organizational ability.Reliable transportation.The ability to be cross-trained to perform other jobs as needed.Ability to communicate with others for safety and efficiency requirements.EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCEOne (1) year of experience as a Plant Operator with the maintenance of water pumps and plant machinery (Preferred).Laboratory experience a plusMust be willing to work in environments with strong odors.Must be willing to work in hot, cold, and wet conditions.Work EnvironmentLifting, climbing, and bendingMust be able to work on feet most of the workdayVaried weather working in hot, cold, and wet conditionsStrong odors and smellsBenefitsAffordable medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid holidays, vacation, and personal time off401k plan with company contributionGrowing industryTeam environmentHourly pay with overtimeCompany-paid life insuranceEmployee referral bonus programWho We AreLiquid Environmental Solutions is the nation’s leading provider in the growing industry of liquid, non-hazardous waste solutions.
