Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)

Fenagh Engineering & Testing is seeking is a CWI Inspector with to perform inspections for the shop/field. To include the following: audits, inspecting structural steel fabrication and erection, material identification, welding to include joint fit-up, in-process welding, completed welding,.The position will be supporting a client in Point Mugu.General Responsibilities:Perform observation and inspection in the shop & field.Collect MTRs for heat numbers and tracking.VT on members in progress.High strength bolting inspections & tests.Compile daily reports outlining inspections and reporting deficiencies (if any).Read and understand specific project plans and specifications.Communicate with the project team regarding project requirements and inspection results.Requirements:AWS CWI Certification.Minimum 5 years of experience.High School Diploma or equivalent.General computer knowledge (Excel, Word, PDF).Able to travel to various locations.
