Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Libertyville, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,280 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Nursing Specialty: Nursing Administration Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 12hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2 years License: Active license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and either RRT or CRT Must-Have: - 2 years of experience with full lifespan of patients (pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics) - EPIC experience - Must have experience with trachs, nitrous oxide procedures, proning techniques, critical care, ventilator-associated pneumonia prevention, spontaneous breathing trials, and ABG draws Description: Candidates must have 2 years of experience with the full lifespan of patients, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. An active license is required. Candidates must have active BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and either RRT or CRT. Experience with EPIC is a must. Candidates should possess skills in trachs, nitrous oxide procedures, proning techniques, and critical care experience. Experience in ventilator-associated pneumonia prevention, spontaneous breathing trials, and ABG draws is also required. Patient ratios are 1:1. Required certifications include BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, and either RRT or CRT. Support on the unit includes a supervisor. The charting system used is EPIC. Ventilators include models PB840, 980, Servo-U, and Hamilton. CPAP/BiPAP equipment includes V60s, ResMed, and RemStar. Orientation includes 1 day on the unit. Scheduling consists of 12-hour shifts with a weekend rotation every other weekend. There is no on-call requirement. Holiday expectations will be based on needs. Scrub color is charcoal gray.
