Project Manager - Bond (Effective 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR)

SUMMARY Administers professional and construction contracts to ensure all TUSD buildings are constructed safely and are functional. The Bond Department oversees the planning, exectution, and monitoring of bond-funded projects with a strong commitment to excellence, accountability, transparency, customer service, and collaboration. Reporting to the Bond Program Manager, this position plays avital role in managing and overseeing projects from initiation through completiong. Responsibilities include tracking project progress, developing and maintaining project documentation, fostering consistent and effective stakeholder communication, and leveraging date to support infromed decision-making. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in project management, technology, business administration or related field AND Two (2) years of experience managing projects and project teams in building construction, renovations, and construction management. OR Associate's degree in project management, technology, business administration or related field AND Four (4) years of experience managing projects and project teams in building construction, renovations, and construction management. OR Six (6) years of experience managing projects and project teams in building construction, renovations, and construction management. One (1) year of supervisory experience Strong understanding of various project management methodologies. Experience with project management software tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project or similar Strong background in Microsoft Office solutions (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, etc.) Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices. Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills including presenting reports, charts, and graphs in public presentations. Skilled in facilitating and leading meetings. Knowledge of OSHA, State and City building and fire codes and regulations. Proficient using word processing, database, spreadsheet programs and project software programs. Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE FBI fingerprint background check. Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization. Must hold a current Arizona Driver's license and have accrued no more than the allowable points against Driver's License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees. COMMENTS Effective: 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR Location: Broadway and Campbell area Classification: Supervisory/Professional FTE: 1.0 - 8.0 hours per day Work Calendar: 12 month Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits. Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
