Security Dispatch Operator

*CSC/SOC Operator — * *Role Description* This is a full-time, on-site position located in Houston, TX, for a CSC/SOC Operator. The CSC/SOC Operator is responsible for monitoring security systems, surveillance cameras, alarms, and other security-related technologies; responding to alerts; maintaining accurate and detailed logs; and escalating incidents to the appropriate security personnel, emergency response teams, or authorities when necessary. The position requires the ability to analyze security information, monitor surveillance footage, identify and assess potential security threats, support emergency response efforts, and provide timely, accurate information to field personnel and management. The successful candidate will work closely with the broader security team to maintain a safe and secure environment while providing real-time operational support. *Responsibilities* * Monitor security systems, surveillance cameras, alarms, access control systems, and other security-related technologies. * Receive, assess, document, and appropriately respond to security and emergency calls and alerts. * Dispatch and coordinate security personnel in response to incidents, alarms, and service requests. * Maintain accurate and detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation. * Monitor surveillance footage and identify suspicious activity, security concerns, or potential threats. * Escalate incidents to supervisors, emergency response teams, law enforcement, or other appropriate personnel when required. * Provide real-time support and information to field security personnel during incidents and emergencies. * Follow established security operations, emergency response, communication, and escalation procedures. * Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion when handling sensitive security information. * Communicate effectively with security personnel, management, clients, tenants, emergency responders, and other departments. * Perform other security operations and dispatch-related duties as assigned. *Qualifications* * Minimum of *2 years of professional dispatch experience* required. * *Valid security license required.* * Experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC), Central Security Center (CSC), dispatch center, or similar security environment is preferred. * Proficiency in security systems monitoring, incident response, dispatch operations, and surveillance protocols. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess information and make sound decisions under pressure. * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining logs, reports, and other documentation. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work effectively as part of a security and emergency response team. * Ability to remain calm, professional, and focused during high-pressure situations. * Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information. * Familiarity with security operations procedures, surveillance systems, access control, alarm systems, and related technologies. * Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn and operate security-related software and applications. * Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required. * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Additional certifications or training in security operations, emergency communications, dispatch, or related fields are advantageous. *Required Qualifications* *Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:* * *2 years of dispatch experience* * *Valid security license* * *High school diploma or equivalent* * *21 years +* * *Basic computer proficiency* * *Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays* * *Strong communication, documentation, and decision-making skills* Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Free parking * Health insurance * On-the-job training * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
