Position: Law Clerk – Litigation (On-Site)Location: On-site (Century City, CA)Schedule: Full-time- 40 hours (a week)Engagement Type: Contract-to-hire or Direct HirePay Rate: Hourly pay rate: $35.00-$40.00/Direct Hire salary $70,000-$75,000 Elevate is working with a high-volume litigation firm in the Los Angeles area seeking a Law Clerk to support its legal team in managing active civil litigation matters. This role is ideal for someone with prior litigation exposure who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Position OverviewThe Law Clerk will play a key role in supporting attorneys and litigation teams by assisting with case tracking, document preparation, court filings, and workflow coordination. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across a high-volume caseload. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have completed law school or are awaiting bar results, as well as individuals who are interested in litigation support roles long-term. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the management of high-volume litigation workflows, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are metTrack case progress, updates, and deadlines using internal systems and reporting toolsMaintain and update case trackers, reports, and dashboards to provide visibility into active mattersMonitor court dockets and identify upcoming deadlines, filings, and case developmentsAssist with drafting and reviewing legal documents, including stipulations and proposed orders, under attorney supervisionCoordinate with opposing counsel to facilitate filings and obtain necessary approvalsPrepare and file legal documents in compliance with state and federal court requirementsGenerate status reports highlighting case updates, risks, and upcoming deadlinesServe as a resource for internal team members regarding case status and procedural questions QualificationsPrior exposure to litigation through internships, clerkships, or legal support rolesStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with state and federal court procedures and filing requirementsExperience using case management or reporting systemsProficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for tracking and reportingStrong written communication skills and attention to detail Preferred SkillsExperience with Salesforce or similar case management platformsPrior experience drafting basic legal documents under supervisionAdvanced spreadsheet skills for tracking, reporting, and data organizationExposure to high-volume litigation environmentsTo apply:If you are qualified, interested, and available, please send 1) your WORD version resume and 2) an email stating why you are a good fit for this position to Elevate Legal Talent provides an unparalleled platform for you to work with innovative companies and law firms worldwide on various exciting and challenging roles.
