This role focuses on managing and optimizing database environments, supporting enterprise data architectures, and ensuring data quality and performance across complex systems.The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with strong experience in Oracle database technologies, data processing, and cloud environments, and thrives in a collaborative Agile setting.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain database solutions to support enterprise applicationsDevelop and optimize database structures, data models, and data load processes for analytical and operational use casesManage relational databases, including data cleansing, transformation, and processing of structured dataDevelop and maintain database objects such as views, triggers, and stored procedures using Oracle PL/SQLPerform testing and quality assurance to ensure data integrity, reliability, and system performanceSupport and enhance existing Oracle database environments and data tiersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with enterprise strategies and improve data qualityIntegrate and support cloud-based database solutions using AWS services such as RDS, S3, and notification systemsParticipate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, execution, and deliveryContribute to ongoing improvements in database performance, scalability, and architectureRequired QualificationsMust be fully cleared with a recent polygraphMust be willing and able to work fully onsite at the location listed in this postingBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field15+ years of experience in database administration, software engineering, or related disciplinesStrong experience with Oracle database technologies and PostgreSQLExperience developing and maintaining data structures and data load routines for analytical applicationsExperience working with structured data processing, transformation, and data quality practicesExperience developing database objects such as views, triggers, and PL/SQL proceduresExperience performing testing and quality assurance within database-driven environmentsExperience working with AWS services such as RDS, S3, and messaging/notification servicesExperience working in Agile development environments and project management frameworksExperience aligning data architecture with enterprise-level strategiesDesired QualificationsExperience serving as a Scrum Master or working closely within Agile teamsExperience with AWS data migration or cloud migration servicesExperience using tools such as Jira for tracking and collaborationExperience presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience working with multiple types of data repositories, including relational, NoSQL, and distributed systems#CJFantom Corp is a Software Development, Agile Cloud, Cyber Security (Risk Management, Assessments & Authorization (A&A)), Data, AI Platform (Computer Vision Models), Podcasting Media Services, and IT Services provider.
