About the CompanyRead Write Learning Center is seeking a dedicated Dyslexia Instructor who is passionate about empowering struggling readers, and ready to make a difference in the lives of our students.About the RoleAs part of our dynamic team you will provide one-on-one reading intervention, build rapport and strong working relationships with your students, provide tailored support, and foster a nurturing learning environment. We use a multi-sensory Orton-Gillingham approach to teaching to ensure that every student reaches their full potential. Specialized training will be provided for all tutors, no previous training in dyslexia required, but previous teaching experience or experience working with children in a professional setting is highly preferred.ResponsibilitiesProvide one-on-one reading intervention.Build rapport and strong working relationships with students.Provide tailored support.Foster a nurturing learning environment.QualificationsBachelor's (Preferred)Required SkillsPassionate about the students and helping them reach their full potential.Patient and caring in working with students.Reliable.Professional and enthusiastic when communicating with all clients.Eager to learn new things and help others succeed.Strong reading, writing, and spelling skills.Experienced at working with school-aged children, ideally in a tutoring or educational setting.Preferred SkillsThis position is ideal for working professionals looking for an additional job, or retired educators who still want to empower students.Pay range and compensation packagePart-time, between 10-20 hours per week.Daytime AvailabilityImmediate hire.Schedule is flexible and can be tailored to your needs.Monday-Thursday.Pay $25-$30/hour.Interested?
