Job DescriptionDoyon Government Group (DGG) provides Design-Build and General Construction Services on demolition, new construction, renovations, repairs, and civil projects at government-owned facilities and military installations.The Construction Project Manager is responsible for project management and estimating on complex government construction projects. They strategize, lead, and coordinate activities in alignment with company policies, procedures, and governmental regulations. Additionally, they supervise numerous construction projects across various locationsIn this role, the Construction PM must be experienced with US Federal government projects, specifically, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE, and/or Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC).ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Project manage multiple construction projects simultaneouslyUnderstand and administer contract and subcontract agreementsEstablish, update, and communicate the Master Project Schedule and manage its implementationWork with the preconstruction team in the development of timely project start-upManage budget, interpret financial reports, and analyze data to ensure project budget complianceUtilize and incorporate project management softwareProvide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee, and pricing decisionsManage and oversee project field operations and engineering processes and proceduresDevelop team competencies in insurance, labor, and employee relations requirementsKeep management updated through scheduled WIP and project review meetingsQUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of 5 years of direct Project Management experience in federal government construction projectsExperience working on construction projects with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and/or the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC)Good experience and knowledge of construction, including cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, engineering principles, techniques, and accountingStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), with an emphasis on ExcelProficient with project management and Critical Path Method Scheduling softwareAbility to interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedulesPreferred Experience:Certification: OSHA 30, CPR-First Aid safety, EM-385-1-1 and CQM or ability to obtain certificationWORKING ENVIRONMENT: The employee is subject to both environmental conditions: Activities occur inside and outside.
