OPERATIONS MANAGER - CNC machining

GNR has been retained by a reputable small CNC machining & manufacturing organization south of Los Angeles in need of an OPERATIONS MANAGER.We are seeking an individual who brings an in-depth machining experience with highly complex, tight-tolerance precision machined parts. This organization has advanced machining capabilities and invested in lights-out capabilities!This is a " highly visible " & " hands-on " role reporting to the VP/GM, while managing a small team, you'll be responsible for day-to-day operational activities for 2 shifts.We need an experienced leader who can make an impact and promote change within the site. You'll collaborate with all departments and incorporate measurable KPIs to optimize operational efficiencies; on-time starts/deliveries, personnel, set-ups/rotations, inventory, WIP/scraps/reworks ...etc).Manage all daily operations needs for CNC machining: Production, Manufacturing, Planning, Safety...Update process & procedures, production scheduling & tracking KPI's.Manage, engage, mentor teams and inspire improvements while adhering to on-time deliveries.ISO9001 / AS9100, QMS, Continuous Improvements, Six SigmaEXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:5+ years of Hands-on leadership experience within a CNC machining environmentIn-depth understanding of CNC, CAD/CAM software, tooling, equipment, materials requirementsExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence change & make an impact on the businessUS Citizenship / US Permanent Resident
