This position is hybrid in Frankfort, KY.Job Description:We are seeking a seasoned Linux Administrator with experience in Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM) and Ansible automation. The candidate will manage, maintain, and automate Linux server infrastructure, including the OLVM environment, to ensure high availability, performance, and security. Responsibilities: Administer and maintain the Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM) environment, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and patching.Manage and configure virtual machines within OLVM, including provisioning, resizing, and optimizing performance.Develop, implement, and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for automating various Linux system administration tasks, including server configuration, patching, and application deployments.Work with Ansible Tower or AWX to deploy and manage Ansible playbooks across the infrastructure.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the OLVM environment, Linux servers, and Ansible automation.Perform routine system administration tasks such as user management, file system management, and backups.Monitor system performance and implement tuning measures to optimize resource utilization.Ensure the security and compliance of the Linux environment, including firewall configuration and adherence to security policies.Maintain documentation for the Linux environment and automation procedures.Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless operation of the infrastructure.Requirements:Experience with open systems.Experience with Ansible.At least three years of Oracle Linux Virtual Machine (OLVM) experience.Proven experience as a Linux Administrator with a strong focus on enterprise environments (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS).Extensive experience with Ansible automation, including playbook development, role creation, and inventory management.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or similar.Familiarity with logical volume management (LVM).Experience administrating JBOSS and WebSphere Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
