Information Technology Intern

OverviewKimley-Horn is looking for a summer Information Technology (IT) Intern in our Denver, Colorado (CO) office. This is an office-based role at 6200 South Syracuse Way, Suite 300, Greenwood Village, Colorado (CO).ResponsibilitiesDaily IT support of our office while shadowing IT AnalystsWork with both local and regional IT teams to deliver IT support services to a national consultant engineering firmIT interns have a passion for technology, a business mindset, a customer service-oriented attitude, strong communication skills, a willingness to work with othersPrioritize, troubleshoot/resolve problems and follow-through with internal clientsQualificationsIn the process of receiving Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or related fieldsPrevious experience in customer serviceUnderstand Windows 10 and be able to configure and troubleshoot PC level problemsKnowledge of Windows Server 2016 Install and support enterprise applicationsAbility to install new printers/copiers/plotters and other office equipmentExcellent communication, written, and customer service skillsHigh aptitude and willingness to learn new technologiesEfficiently working to solve problems and explain solutionsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with CAD/Engineering applications MCP or A+ or Network+ or Cisco CCNA Certification is a plusMobile device configuration and use (iPads, Smartphones)Knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365, Teams and OneDrive for business, Exchange 365, Windows Server 2016, Active Directory, Networking fundamentalsSalary Range: $22-$23/hrWhy Kimley-Horn?At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
