Director Of HousekeepingWe are seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Housekeeping to lead all housekeeping operations for a high-volume, oceanfront resort with a mix of hotel rooms and privately owned condo units in Myrtle Beach, SC. This leadership role is responsible for driving cleanliness standards, operational efficiency, labor control, and exceptional guest and owner satisfaction across the property.Director Of Housekeeping Benefits:Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus potentialComprehensive health, dental, and retirement benefitsGrowth opportunities within a growing hospitality organizationPaid time off and holiday payTuition and training reimbursement programsEmployee discounts on stays and resort amenitiesDirector Of Housekeeping Responsibilities:Oversee all daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, suites, and condo unitsEnsure all rooms and units meet or exceed cleanliness, sanitation, and brand standards prior to guest arrivalConduct regular inspections and audits to ensure quality assurance and consistencyManage labor productivity, staffing levels, scheduling, and payroll control in alignment with occupancy and budgetOversee linen, supply, and inventory management to ensure operational efficiency and cost controlPartner closely with Front Office, Maintenance/Engineering, and Ownership groups to ensure seamless operationsMonitor cleanliness scores, guest feedback, and online reviews to drive continuous improvementMaintain compliance with OSHA, DHEC, and all safety and sanitation standardsDirector Of Housekeeping Qualifications:35+ years of progressive housekeeping leadership experience in a hotel or resort environmentExperience managing large teams in a high-volume, multi-building or resort setting strongly preferredStrong financial acumen with experience managing labor budgets, scheduling, and supply costsProven ability to lead, coach, and develop supervisors and frontline teamsWorking knowledge of PMS and housekeeping management systemsAbility to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and peak occupancy periods
