Senior Oracle ADF / Java DeveloperLocation: Floyd, GAEmployment Type: ContractExperience: 5+ YearsAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Oracle ADF / Java Developer to join our technology team and drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Oracle ADF, Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular, and Kafka integrations, along with strong experience in cloud-based development and modern DevOps practices.This role requires a hands-on developer who can collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, mentor team members, and contribute to the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Development & DesignDesign, develop, test, and support enterprise applications using Oracle ADF 11g/12c, Java, Angular, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.Participate in the complete SDLC, including requirements analysis, estimation, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.Develop and maintain scalable Microservices and REST APIs.Design and implement integrations using Apache Kafka and other messaging technologies.Build and maintain highly available, secure, and performant web applications.Oracle ADF DevelopmentDevelop solutions using Oracle ADF Framework and Oracle Fusion Middleware Platform.Work extensively with Oracle ADF Business Components including:Entity Objects (EO)View Objects (VO)Application Modules (AM)View LinksEntity AssociationsImplement ADF security, internationalization, and user interface components.Design and optimize ADF-based enterprise applications following MVC architecture principles.DevOps & Cloud TechnologiesLeverage modern CI/CD practices and automation tools including Jenkins, Maven, and uDeploy.Deploy and support applications on WebLogic, JBoss, Apache Tomcat, and cloud environments.Develop containerized applications using Docker.Support deployment and management of applications in Azure or similar cloud platforms.Collaboration & LeadershipWork closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues.Mentor and guide junior developers and associate engineers.Drive technical best practices and continuous process improvements.Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.Required Qualifications5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle ADF 11g/12c and Java development.Strong expertise in:Java/J2EESpring BootSpring MVCMicroservices ArchitectureAngularRESTful APIsApache KafkaExtensive experience with Oracle ADF Business Components and Oracle Fusion Middleware.Experience developing and integrating web services into enterprise applications.Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and software engineering best practices.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools including Jenkins and Maven.Hands-on experience with Docker containerization.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Pega Platform application development and deployment.Experience integrating legacy systems with Pega solutions.Knowledge of designing scalable and secure Pega applications.Healthcare, Customer Service, or Enterprise Operations domain experience.Experience integrating enterprise systems and external systems of record.Experience deploying Pega applications on Azure or similar cloud platforms.Expertise in workflow automation and business process optimization.
