Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Devine, TXPoint Quest Group is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a welcoming school district in Devine, Texas, just outside San Antonio. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a close-knit community while working within a collaborative and supportive school environment.At PQG, we are committed to delivering high-quality therapy services that drive student outcomes while supporting our clinicians with the tools, structure, and professional respect they deserve.Why Point Quest Group (PQG)?Mission-driven organization focused on improving student outcomesSupportive, collaborative environment with strong clinical leadershipAccess to therapy resources, materials, and AAC toolsStructured schedules with dedicated time for evaluations and documentationOpportunity to make a visible impact in a smaller, community-focused districtPosition OverviewSchedule: Monday–Friday, aligned with school hoursWeekly Hours: 40 hours per weekSetting: School-based (K–12 population)Caseload: Varies; designed to be manageable and compliantThis role includes a combination of direct therapy, evaluations, IEP participation, and documentation, with a structured schedule that supports sustainable workloads.Key ResponsibilitiesAssessment & Evaluation: Conduct speech-language evaluations, re-evaluations, and assessments to determine student needs and eligibility for services.Treatment Planning & Implementation: Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's communication goals, including support for AAC use when appropriate.IEP Participation & Compliance: Lead and participate in IEP meetings, ensuring goals, services, and documentation meet all regulatory and district requirements.Direct Therapy Services: Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy to students with a variety of communication disorders across grade levels.Collaboration & Consultation: Work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and carryover of skills.Documentation & Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate and timely records, including session notes, progress reports, and compliance documentation.QualificationsActive Texas Speech Language Pathologist license (required)Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (or CF candidates considered, depending on support availability)Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferredStrong communication, organization, and collaboration skillsAbility to pass background and fingerprint clearanceTB clearance (as required)Authorized to work in the United StatesPhysical RequirementsAbility to work in a school environment with moderate noise levelsFrequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the dayOccasional lifting of materials or equipment (up to 50 lbs, with or without accommodations)Exposure to typical classroom environmental conditions (dust, pollen, etc.)About the Opportunity in Devine, TXDevine offers a small-town, community-oriented atmosphere with convenient access to the San Antonio metro area.
