We are seeking a dedicated Pediatrician for an exciting locum tenens opportunity in Georgia, near Auburn. This position offers a chance to provide essential care in a well-supported environment, with manageable patient volumes and a focus on newborn care. Position Details: Start Date: Open for submissions; specific dates include: January 20th, 7:00 AM to January 25th, 7:00 AM March 16th, 7:00 AM to March 22nd, 7:00 AM Shift Type: 24-hour call coverage for a Level I newborn nursery. Patient Load: Average 1???2 patients per day. Average 1???2 inpatient admissions per day. Support Staff: Includes OB and nursery nurses. Procedures Required: Routine newborn care. Umbilical line placement (if nursing staff is unable to place IV). Intubation of newborns. No circumcisions required. Certification and Licensing Requirements: Active Georgia state medical license ??? Required Board Certification in Pediatrics ??? Required NRP Certification ???
