High School Principal Position OverviewWe are seeking an exceptional High School Principal to lead our private college preparatory high school with vision, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to excellence in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate is a seasoned educator and proven leader who has cultivated success in both private and public educational settings. They will bring a student-centered approach, an ability to inspire faculty and staff, and a strong record of positive, results-oriented change management.
High School Principal Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic, visionary leadership for all aspects of the high school's academic and co-curricular programs.
Foster a culture of high expectations, respect, and collaboration among faculty, staff, students, and families.
Serve as the instructional leader, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.
Lead with a "the buck stops here" attitudetaking accountability for school performance while empowering others to excel.
Mentor and develop the Assistant Principal and leadership team, providing ongoing coaching and professional growth opportunities.
Partner closely with department chairs, faculty, and parents to promote a cohesive and mission-aligned school community.
Oversee curriculum development, assessment practices, and college preparatory programming that challenge and support every student.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance academic rigor, student engagement, and school culture.
Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and school policies.
Represent the high school as a visible, approachable, and decisive leader within the larger school community.
High School student body minimum 200 students
High School Principal QualificationsMaster's degree or higher in Education, Humanities, or a related field.
Minimum of 710 years of educational experience, including classroom teaching and progressive leadership roles.
Proven success in both private and public education environments.
Demonstrated track record of implementing meaningful change with positive outcomes.
Strong leadership presence with exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Experience mentoring and developing emerging leaders, particularly Assistant Principals or Deans.
Deep commitment to fostering an inclusive, academically challenging, and supportive learning community.

High School Principal Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $150K-$175K
