Early Childhood Special Education Teacher

ZSN Solutions is hiring an experienced Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to work on our school clients in Walnut Creek, CA, for the School year 2024-25. Job Description: SET is needed at Walnut Creek, CA. Age: Tk-1 (SDC) Start: ASAP End date: June 7, 2024 Total hours: 35-40 hrs per week Responsibilities - Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. - Provide instruction and support to children with developmental disabilities in a classroom setting. - Collaborate with parents, therapists, and other educators to create a supportive learning environment. - Utilize specialized teaching techniques to address the unique needs of each student. - Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed. - Stay current on best practices in early childhood special education to enhance student outcomes. Qualifications - Experience in special education and early childhood education - Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and toddler care - Ability to work with children with developmental disabilities and autism - Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning - Strong classroom management skills and early intervention techniques - Familiarity with literacy education and learning technology Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
