Lead Concrete Carpenter

Kirby Nagelhout Construction Company one of Oregon's largest General Contractors is searching for a Lead Carpenter experienced in structural concrete, structural steel, wood framing and finish carpentry. You would lead and coach a team of carpenters. Someone in this role will have the opportunity to grow and influence the direction of KNCC's self-perform unit. Essential Duties & Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Manage & mentor craft workers (general laborers/concrete form setters) while carrying out assignments related to concrete forming, placement, finishing, curing, and cutting Schedule, manage, and supervise the planning, lay-out, material storage, maintenance, and inspections of concrete construction in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes and industry standards Prepare the building foundation layout Maintain relationships with other trades, sub-tier contractors, and main project team Work on elevated platforms, such as ladders and scaffolding OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 Certified Lead KNCC's Safety Program Use of Construction Technology such as Procore, MS Office, and iPads's Other onsite carpentry tasks as needed Requirements 7 years carpentry experience required Ability to travel to jobsites within the Central Oregon Region Must have physical strength and manual dexterity, including hand/eye coordination, to manage all materials and tasks as required per job Ability to read and understand blueprints Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
