Quality Advisor (2026) Manchester, EnglandApply with IndeedPosition: Quality AdvisorReports to: Quality & Compliance ManagerOverviewDanny Sullivan Group is seeking a Quality Advisor to support the delivery of high-quality standards across a portfolio of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. This is a site-facing role, working closely with project teams to promote a right-first-time culture and ensure compliance with quality systems and project requirements.You will play a key role in embedding quality processes, carrying out audits, supporting corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesHealth & SafetyPromote strong safety awareness across all activitiesFollow all health and safety procedures and site requirementsAdhere to site rules during visits and ensure appropriate use of PPEProject & Stakeholder SupportBuild and maintain effective relationships with project teams and supply chainAdvise on quality standards, project requirements, and contractual expectationsSupport project teams with quality documentation and handover requirementsEnsure quality documentation is completed accurately throughout the project lifecycleQuality Assurance & DeliverySupport site teams in implementing quality processes and meeting requirementsReview and assist in the development of quality plans, ITPs, and related documentationCarry out internal audits in line with company procedures and ISO 9001 requirementsIdentify non-conformances, trends, and improvement opportunitiesSupport root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are implementedMonitor quality performance, trends, and KPIsProvide regular reports to the Quality & Compliance ManagerHighlight recurring issues and support business-wide improvementsContribute to the ongoing development of the management systemAssist with external audits and tender submissions where requiredStandards & ComplianceEnsure compliance with ISO 9001, with awareness of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001Support adherence to relevant industry standards including NHSS where applicableReview project specifications and ensure quality requirements are understood and appliedCandidate RequirementsQualifications & ExperienceISO 9001 Internal Auditor (essential)CQI membership or working towards (desirable)CSCS CardExperience within civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction environmentsFull UK driving licenceSkills & KnowledgeStrong understanding of ISO 9001 and quality management systemsKnowledge of construction and infrastructure project deliveryAbility to carry out audits and produce clear reportsStrong analytical skills to identify trends and improvementsGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office and TeamsEffective communicator with the ability to influence at all levelsAble to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPersonal AttributesStrong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvementProactive and solution-focused approachConfident working both independently and within project teamsProfessional, reliable, and detail-orientedStrong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindsetFlexible and adaptable to changing project demandsDanny Sullivan Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
