Office travel required once per month for meetings in Chicago?? $95,000 - $125,000This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded team who have for 20 years consistently won awards for their support across complex, high-value transactions across a diverse portfolio of asset classes nationwide.This role is ideal for a driven and detail-oriented paralegal who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys working on multifaceted transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development projects.Why This Role Stands OutExposure to a nationally recognized real estate practice handling complex transactions across multiple asset classes, including retail, multifamily, industrial, and manufactured housing.Opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys on sophisticated deals involving joint ventures, financing structures, and large-scale developments.Strong firm reputation with national reach, offering long-term career growth and exposure to high-profile clients and transactions.Collaborative, team-oriented environment with direct interaction with clients, lenders, and title professionals.What You'll DoAssist attorneys with commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions across a range of property types.Review and analyze purchase and sale agreements and related transaction documents.Prepare and manage closing checklists, track critical dates, and oversee transaction timelines.Review title commitments, surveys, and zoning reports; draft title objections and assist with title clearance.Coordinate and manage due diligence processes, including ordering, reviewing, and summarizing searches.Prepare estoppels, SNDAs, UCC financing statements, and other transaction-related documentation.Draft, review, and organize closing documents and facilitate all aspects of closings with clients, lenders, and title companies.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties throughout the transaction lifecycle.Maintain and update docketing systems to track deadlines and key milestones.Oversee preparation of electronic closing binders and post-closing documentation.Who You Are4+ years of experience as a transactional real estate paralegal, with strong exposure to acquisitions, dispositions, and financing.Solid understanding of title, survey (including ALTA standards), zoning, and due diligence processes.Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with attorneys, clients, and third parties.Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.Strong technical proficiency, including Microsoft OfficeAbility to adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage shifting priorities.EducationBachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate requiredIf this role aligns with your experience or if you're interested in learning about other opportunities, please reach out directly:?? lorna.hardcastle@simpsonjudge.com??
