This individual will be responsible for planning, design, coordination, and execution of projects as well as project and client management.Responsibilities Provide professional engineering services for water treatment and related infrastructure projects to include design, plans, specifications, reports, project budgets, scope of work, permits, contracts, schedules, estimates, and coordination of sub-consultants and contractors. Conduct feasibility studies for the construction of facilities, such as water supply and distribution systems, and water treatment plants. Lead specific tasks of large projects or manage smaller projects and manage and mentor performance of assigned project team members including other Project Engineers, Engineers in Training, and Engineering Technicians. Work within multi-discipline projects that include civil, electrical, structural, mechanical, and architectural teams. Provide quality control and quality assurance on all project work. Assist in maintaining budgets and schedules of project assignments and in maintaining quality client relationships and communication. Assist the Water Practice Leader in identifying, evaluating, pursuing, and managing project opportunities. Maintain existing client relationships and assist with pursuing relationships with new clients. Basic RequirementsBachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field with 5+ years of engineering experience with water supply, treatment, and distribution systems. Registration as a Professional Engineer in North Dakota or ability to obtain within 6 months. Demonstrated experience interfacing with clients and successfully leading teams within multi-discipline projects and ability to multi-task to effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Strong communication skills. Maintain stellar reputation for integrity, fairness, reliability, good judgement and aptitude among peers, management, and staff. Knowledge of North Dakota permitting and 10 State Standard design requirements. Preferred Qualifications 10+ years of engineering experience with water supply, treatment, and distribution systems. Project management experience. Knowledge of project financials.
