Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Brahma is conducting this search on behalf of our client.Our client is a fast-growing tech company building AI-powered sensor systems that generate real-time intelligence from maritime environments. They're expanding the team and looking for an exceptional Staff ML Engineer to help define the technical direction.What you'll work on: You'll serve as a technical anchor on the ML team, setting architectural direction, owning hard problems end to end, and shipping models that run on embedded edge hardware in the field. Computer vision, signal processing, multi-modal fusion, and world model development are all in play. Expect high ownership and direct influence on the product roadmap.You're a strong fit if you have:10+ years of applied ML experience with real production deploymentsProven track record of architectural ownership and technical leadershipDeep expertise in edge/embedded ML and compute-constrained environmentsComfort working across data types including images, time-series, RF, geospatialMaster's or PhD strongly preferred; publications or patents are a genuine plusBackground in defense, maritime, or remote sensing domains a strong plusUS Person status required (security clearance eligibility needed)Why join: Small team, high ownership, meaningful mission.
