Jioncutz Barber Styling Academy is a Master Barber Program that will offer Students their credit ability hours/preparation for state testing, for Tennessee State Board Testing Role DescriptionThis is a Part-time on-site role for a Master Barber Instructor located in Knoxville, TN. The Master Barber Instructor will be responsible for teaching barbering techniques, theories, and practices to students. Day-to-day responsibilities include instructing students in haircutting, styling, shaving, and grooming, maintaining a professional and engaging classroom environment, developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves ensuring that the curriculum adheres to professional standards and state licensing requirements.QualificationsProficiency in barbering techniques, including haircutting, shaving, and stylingExperience in teaching, mentoring, or training in a professional or educational settingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsOrganizational and time management skills to prepare and deliver lesson plans effectivelyValid Master Barber Instructor license and industry certifications as required by state regulationsAbility to foster a positive and inclusive learning environmentFamiliarity with health, safety, and sanitation practices in a salon or barbering environmentPassion for teaching, ongoing learning, and inspiring the next generation of barbers
