Industrial Engineer

A manufacturing client in Waukesha, Wisconsin is looking for a direct hire, Industrial Engineer to join their team! This engineer will develop systems for managing production processes to improve efficiency and profitability. We are looking for someone who can execute improvement tactics based on empirical data related to yield, cycle time and waste reduction. If you enjoy driving process improvement, boosting efficiency and supporting continuous innovation - this role is for you!Your ResponsibilitiesTest and evaluate integrated systems for managing manufacturing processes, use analysis of human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics, material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination.In collaboration with production leaders and personnel, coordinate continuous improvement/lean initiativesFacilitate work teams to make production operations more efficient and profitable; tracks process improvement strategies, objectives, milestones, and metrics.Review production schedules, work orders, engineering specifications, and related information to estimate manufacturing costs, design cost saving methods, and determine the effects of process changes on costs and qualityProvide reports for management review, action, and control.Creation and maintenance of work instructionsWork to reduce working capital by implementing methods and systems to ensure a more effective and efficient level of inventory.Communicates best practices throughout the organization.Must HavesBachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering.Five years experience with lean systems and integration in a manufacturing environmentExperience in TPS or SME 5S Lean certificationSalary of $75,000 to $85,000 annually + bonus, depending on education and experience
