Architectural Job Captain

Job DescriptionThe Architecture Job Captain work closely with internal and external project teams to coordinate the design and production of drawings and construction documents.Qualifications:Assist in developing project documents for bidding and construction. Provide input to the design and construction schedule -Responsible for the development and coordination of the drawings and specifications including: program compliance; code and agency compliance; schedule commitments; product researchOrganize and direct the architectural and/or engineering team to execute the work in an orderly, timely, and coordinated mannerAdvise the project architect and/or engineer when the drawings and specifications are complete and ready to be issuedProvide support for any tasks required for the successful completion of the projectRequirements:Minimum 5 years drafting and producing construction documents. Requires Associates/Bachelor's degree in architectural or related field, or equivalent experience. MUST be proficient in Revit and AutoCADProven ability to function in all phases of project development from schematic design through contract administrationAbility to function comfortably, gain trust, confidence and deal effectively with a wide range of individuals including consultants, contractors. Highly organized and detail oriented to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Have a keen eye for detail. Ability to effectively supervise and mentor staffPossess excellent communications skillsSpeak, read and write English proficiently.
