Behavioral Consultation Coordinator Support Services of Virginia (SSVA) is seeking a Behavioral Consultation Coordinator to help develop, lead, and actively participate in our Behavioral Consultation (BC) program across Virginia. This role blends direct behavioral consultation, clinical leadership, and program development in a values-driven organization committed to person-centered, trauma-informed practice. This role is designed as a launching point for people looking to start and grow their career in positive behavior support. Eligible to provide DD Waiver Behavioral Consultation services in Virginia Positive Behavior Supports Facilitator (PBSF) Endorsement preferred Strong clinical judgment, organization, leadership and communication skills Reliable transportation as position requires travel throughout Virginia Commitment to ethical, person-centered, trauma-informed practice What You'll Do Coordinate and oversee Behavioral Consultation services across SSVA Maintain an assigned caseload and deliver direct behavioral consultation services. Mentor and lead Behavioral Consultants (staff and contractors) Teach and reinforce key competencies (positive behavior support, trauma-informed care, person-centered practices) Help build and grow the BC program through planning, collaboration, and innovation Oversee documentation quality, audit readiness, and compliance Represent SSVA in DBHDS roundtables, professional organizations, and training.
