Employees want our customers to know that they can depend on us every time they do business with Orgill.Position SummaryThe Material Handler is responsible for the following warehouse activities, including but not limited to: receiving, fullcase orders, repack stock, and fullcase stock.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesReceive supplier shipmentsPick customer ordersOperate forklifts or other equipmentMaintain inventory integrity and product safety at all timesOperate a handheld scannerObtaining power equipment certifications, electric power jack, walker/rider, and forkliftMeet and exceed quality and production standardsAbility to take direction from managementAdheres to DC housekeeping guidelinesEnsures Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting safely at all timesPerform all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards and adhere to all policies, rules, regulations, and proceduresPerforms all other tasks and duties as assignedRequirements And QualificationsHigh School diploma preferredKnowledge and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), or other platformsExcellent attendance record Must be willing and able to work overtimeGood comprehension and organizational skillsAbility to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of managementAbility to maintain records accurately and demonstrate problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to prioritize work and to meet deadlinesMust be a team player with a can-do attitude Power Equipment certification is a plusMust be able to read, write, and speak EnglishPhysical RequirementsMust have the ability to meet physical assessment requirements for this position Ability to lift up to 25lbs frequently, 50lbs occasionally, and 75lbs rarelyAbility to complete the physical assessment at the Material Handler II levelOrgill, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer (EOE)Disclaimer: When duties and responsibilities change and develop, the job description will be reviewed and subject to changes based on business necessity.
