You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Active Iowa state license or ability to obtain state license prior to assignment start. BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required by client. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Prior experience with patient transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and use of common assistive devices required. Ability to follow treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist and document interventions per facility policy. Client may require vaccination or immunization compliance and background screening as standard for patient-facing roles. Assignment Details Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
